Free Car Insurance Quotes
I recently purchased a new (or new used/just plain used) vehicle and before I did, I was looking to see if there was some cheaper insurance out there or if it would make a big different if I purchased a nice new car. When it really came down to it, I should not have searched for insurance quotes because there is tons of spam that comes along with the quotes. Not only does each individual insurance company hound you, but you also get spam from completely unrelated places that apparently the insurance companies or websites sold to them. This is somewhat annoying, but I have kind of gotten over it. I even got a whole calendar and a bundle of business cards in the mail from one guy. It seems to me like he just wasted a bunch of stuff since I immediately threw it anyway. I stayed with State Farm in the end. Who knows, maybe I will switch to a different one some day.
This is just a warning for those of you looking for car insurance quotes; make sure you are careful or just ready for a lot of spam.

Are You Insured?
Car Insurance was invented for a number of reasons, but most importantly it was created to protect you. In fact, now it is against the law to not be insured. What is insurance good for though? Well, there are a few areas that it helps you with depending on your coverage level and options:
Insured Party – this means the person with the insurance is covered and when in an accident medical expenses and such will be covered either partially or fully by the insurance company.
Insured Vehicle – this is the part of the coverage typically called collision coverage which covers the repairs of the vehicle or pays the amount of the vehicle's estimated worth if the car is not repairable. Whether a person carries collision insurance is often determined by whether the car is worth enough or if the person elects to include that option in their coverage. This of course would increase the deductible.
Third Parties – the parties other than the insured involved in the accident if they are not responsible for the accident. The insurance company of the person responsible would have to cover a certain amount of the damage of the other person or vehicle involved.
Car Insurance is a tricky thing to decide on for coverage levels, but you have to determine how much it will cost and what the benefit of it would be if you were to be in an accident.

Sanction on Jasindo’s Indonesian Migrant Workers Insurance activity withdrawn
Following the corrective measures taken by Asuransi Jasindo Consortium that provides insurance for Indonesian migrant workers, the sanction on the Consortium’s workers insurance activity was finally withdrawn, thus the insurance activities have now resumed. The withdrawal of the sanction complies with the Letter of Head of BNP2TKI (the National Agency for the Placement and Protection of Overseas Labor) No. B.46/BNP2TKI/VII/2007 dated 12 July 2007 regarding the Consortium’s participation in providing insurance for Indonesian migrant workers. The Head of BNP2TKI Jumhur Hidayat stated in a copy letter received by Bisnis yesterday, that due to the fact that Asuransi Jasindo Consortium did take corrective measures, as of 13 July 2007 the Consortium has been permitted to resume services for Indonesian workers. Jasindo’s President Director Edi Subekti explained that his party has taken six corrective measures including the opening of representative offices in the workers destination countries, namely Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Hong Kong, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Taiwan, and Saudi Arabia. “The Consortium fully supports the Depnakertrans policy to set up an Indonesian Incorporation to provide representative offices in the workers destination countries in order to assist workers who have trouble in a foreign country.” Furthermore, the Consortium has opened a service counter in terminal 3 Soekarno-Hatta airport, in which there is a special room for assisting migrant workers with the provision of online computerization connected with BNP2TKI and Depnakertrans for data checking, and emergency vehicles to transport troubled workers. In addition to providing online data system between the Consortium and Depnakertrans which can be accessed at any time, the Consortium also holds a cooperation with Kramat Jati Police Hospital for free-of-charge medication and treatment for migrant workers. Edi added that 85 Asuransi Jasindo branch offices have been positioned one in each BNP2TKI office spread all over Indonesia. The sanction on Asuransi Jasindo Consortium’s operational activity providing the placement of and insurance protection for Indonesian migrant workers was enforced as of 2 July as the Consortium was considered to have failed to meet with the evaluation criteria imposed by the government. The decision on the said sanction was contained in the Letter No. B.395/BNP2TKI/VI dated 29 June 2007 signed by the Head of BNP2TKI. BNP2TKI offices all over Indonesia and PPTKIS/PJTKI (agencies in charge of giving services to Indonesian migrant workers) were also informed of the letter and were asked to contact four other Indonesian Workers Insurance consortiums that are still legalized, namely Bangun Askrida, Ramayana, Proteksi and Adira Dinamika Consortiums. The last three had just been accepted by the government as winners of a tender for organizing Indonesian migrant workers insurance program. The sanction imposed on Asuransi Jasindo Consortium was in fact a follow up of the Letter No. B.327/BNP2TKI/VI dated 7 June 2007 on the implementation of Indonesian migrant workers protection in foreign countries. In BNP2TKI’s judgment, the consortium failed to carry out its tasks and functions optimally, and to set up an online data system of Indonesian migrant workers insurance and also failed to have representative offices in foreign countries. www.jasindo.co.id @ 26/07/2007
Indonesian Workers Insurance provided by Jasindo Resumes Operation
Furthermore Jasindo has started having an online system on Indonesian migrant workers data between the Consortium and Depnakertrans (the Department of Manpower and Transmigration). Additionally, Jasindo has opened up representative offices for Indonesian migrant workers, online computerization with BNP2TKI and Depnakertrans for the workers’ data, as well as emergency vehicles for taking care of troubled workers. Jasindo presently has 85 branch offices, one in each BNP2TKI throughout Indonesia, and is currently cooperating with Kramat Jati Police hospital to look after Indonesian workers who require medication and treatment all free of charge with the relevant cost borne by the Consortium. Jasindo fully supports the Depnakertrans policy to set up an Indonesian Incorporation to oversee the availability of representative offices in each destination country to provide services and assistance for Indonesian migrant workers who may be in trouble overseas.

Cheaper Car Insurance
Recently I purchased a new vehicle and started to look for cheaper car insurance, but found that really the easiest thing to do is to stay with the provider I already had; State Farm. The good news is that I also have home insurance and another car covered through them so it is hard to beat the discounts involved with all of those put together.
So the best way to get cheaper insurance is to bundle your insurance coverage or put them all under the same provider. In my case it was a no brainer and ends up saving me a lot of money. The only big problem comes in finding the provider that will have all of the coverage you want along with the right price for each. Again, they will be discounted if they are all with the same provider, but if the price is way too high for one of the types of coverage then it is really not worth it. When you are going to look for more insurance, car insurance or other, strongly consider changing all of the types of coverage you need to the same provider.

What is all the fuss about free car insurance quotes? Of course you can get car insurance quotes for free. There is truly no reason to pay for car insurance quotes as a matter of fact. Probably it is just the fact that people like to see free at the beginning of everything because it looks better.
